Blackheath offers a wealth of possibilities:

Waterholes and birdwatching on the Pope's Glen track

Memorial Park is directly opposite, with its swimming pool (normally open between the end of November and the end of March each year), children's playground and duck pond in a beautiful rhododendron garden - great for kids!

Bushwalks lead to Govett's Leap for panoramic views of Grose Valley. Have a picnic, visit the National Parks and Wildlife Heritage Centre, or 'step off the edge' into the Grose Valley for a long day- or multi-day bushwalk!

Mountain Bike trails for both the experienced and casual rider are located within easy access of the Park.

Taste the home-grown apple juice at Logan Brae orchards.

The Megalong Valley, which begins about 5 kilometres from Blackheath, is a popular spot for mountain bike riding, horse riding, swimming and picnics.

Rock Climbers, Hang Gliders and Canyonners will find Blackheath to be a wonderful base to explore the Mountains.

The cafes and shops in Blackheath offer a wonderful array of goodies for the young and young at heart.
