How to get to Katoomba Falls

Katoomba is just two hours by car or train from Sydney CBD.

From Sydney: Take the M4 Motorway towards Katoomba/Blue Mountains. When you reach Katoomba turn left at the traffic lights into Parke Street. Follow to the end, then left into Waratah Street, then turn first street on the right into Katoomba Street. Follow this until you come to Katoomba Falls Road on the right. Stay on this road and look for Blue Mountains Tourist Parks - Katoomba Falls on the right after this road becomes Cliff Drive. The Caravan Park is located approximately 2 kilometres from the main highway.

From Lithgow / Central West: Follow the Great Western Highway. When you reach Katoomba turn right at the traffic lights into Parke Street. Follow directions above from Parke Street.

By Train or Bus to Katoomba

Regular trains and buses service Katoomba from Sydney, departing from Central Station. Train is the most convenient way to travel. The journey is approximately 2 hours.

Walking directions from Katoomba Railway Station

Time: 30 minutes. From Katoomba railway station, walk down the main street, Katoomba Street, until you come to Katoomba Falls Road on the right. Follow Katoomba Falls Road and look for our sign on the right after this road becomes Cliff Drive.

Local bus from near Katoomba Railway Station

Take any Skyway bus from Katoomba Street (opposite train station on south side). Tell the driver that you want to get off at the Caravan Park at Katoomba Falls. These buses run approximately half-hourly.
