Katoomba Falls Accommodation & Rates

STAY SAFE!

We are providing regular and thorough cleaning to all areas within the Park - in particular touch points.

When you check into our Park, we will ask you to sign a guest registration form and answer some questions in relation to your recent travel activity and general well-being. Thermal temperature checks are also being undertaken - this is purely for the safety and wellbeing of all guests and staff members.

We also ask that you help us! Maintain your social distance of 1.5m and practise good hygiene. Wash your hands, cough or sneeze into your arm and try not to touch other people. We have signage around our Park to remind you about these regulations - it is extremely important that we all do our part to stay healthy.

Please also be kind to one another and to our team of hard working staff members. Remember that we have all been experiencing unprecedented circumstances, and for many of us the COVID-19 crisis follows periods of extreme drought and bushfire.

A small older style of cabin, suitable for people looking for budget style accommodation.

Linen and Bedding is supplied for the master bed in each cabin. Linen/Bedding hire is available for bunk beds.

All prices include 10% GST.

Children are classified as being between the ages of 2 and 16. No charge for children under the age of 2.

Powered and Non-powered sites

Ensuite sites

Modern, clean and spacious ensuite sites with concrete slabs.

Suitable for all caravans, motorhomes, and campervans. Not all sites are suitable for tents or camper trailers. Please contact our friendly reception staff for assistance if booking for a tent or camper trailer.

FREE Wi-Fi hotspots are located near the amenities and camp kitchen and reach most powered sites.

Powered sites

All of our powered sites have concrete slabs. Some sites are entirely concrete. Sites will suit caravans, motorhomes, 5th wheelers, or camper vans. Please contact our friendly reception staff if you wish to book for a camper trailer or tent as not all sites are suitable.

Our newly renovated amenities block, laundry and accessible/childrens bathroom is located a short walk from the sites.

A dump point for toilet cassette waste is located behind the amenities block.

FREE Wi-Fi hotspots are located near the amenities and camp kitchen and reach most powered sites.

Pets are not permitted at the Katoomba Falls Tourist Park.

Camp fires are not permitted at the Katoomba Falls Tourist Park.

Non-powered sites

Our non-powered sites are small to medium in size and border two recreation ovals. They are suitable for small tents and camper vans.

Our newly renovated amenities block, laundry and accessible/childrens bathroom is located a short walk from the sites.

Our camp kitchen area is a short walk from the camping sites.

FREE Wi-Fi hotspots are located near the camp kitchen.

Pets are not permitted at the Katoomba Falls Tourist Park.

Camp fires are not permitted at the Katoomba Falls Tourist Park.

Important information

Accommodation Deposit
A deposit equivalent to the first nights accommodation is required at the time of booking for all cabins and sites. Should a credit card be unavailable, an amount equivalent to the first nights' accommodation should be posted in the form of a cheque or money order. Sufficient time for the cheque to clear is required for a deposit to be made in this manner. 50% deposit is required for bookings over the December/January holidays and for Easter.

Payment for Accommodation
The balance of accommodation is payable upon arrival. Payment is accepted by car, eftpos, VISA or MasterCard. No personal cheques are permitted at the time of arrival.

Cancellation Policy for bookings is a Minimum $25

School holiday periods, long weekends, and festival periods
- If more than two weeks notice is provided a $20 administration fee will apply
- If less than two weeks notice is provided an amount equivalent to the first nights accommodation will apply
- If less than 24 hours notice is provided the entire balance of accommodation may apply

Off peak periods (not during School holidays, long weekends and festival periods)
- If more than one weeks notice is provided a $20 administration fee will apply
- If less than one weeks notice is provided an amount equivalent to the first nights accommodation will apply

No refunds will be provided for early departures. This includes poor weather, personal reasons and guests being asked to leave the premises early due to offensive behaviour.

Bookings for subsequent year
Bookings may be taken for the subsequent financial year, however the rates determined by Council for that year will apply. The General Manager is authorised to vary Caravan Park fees and charges to meet market requirements at the time.

Check in times
Cabins: 2pm - 5pm
Sites: 12pm - 5pm

Please advise our reception staff if you plan to arrive later than 5pm. This will enable us to make appropriate arrangements for your anticipated late arrival.

Check out time
10am for all sites and cabins. A late departure may be arranged subject to availability and only with the approval from reception staff. Unfortunately we are unable to allow late checkouts in busy periods.

Conditions
An additional fee will be charged to cover the cost of any damage caused, or for cabins that have not been left in a clean and satisfactory condition.

Linen
The master bed in each cabin is fully made with two towels supplied. Linen and bedding hire is available for the bunk beds in the second bedroom of all cabins. Please contact reception prior to arrival if additional linen hire is required.

Pets
Pets are NOT PERMITTED at the Katoomba Falls Tourist Park. The Blackheath Glen Tourist Park allows pets (conditions apply).

Guest registration
All guests are required to sign a registration card when checking into the Park.

Camp Fires
Camp fires are NOT PERMITTED at the Katoomba Falls Tourist Park due to the proximity of the National Park and potential bush fires.
